This shawl is worked downwards from the centre of the upper neckline edge, increasing by four stitches every RS row to create the triangular shape. Stitch markers are used to denote the central stitch, take care that they don’t slip under the yarnovers worked next to them; there should only every be 1 st between the markers. You can work the stitch patterns from charts or written instructions, whichever you prefer.
