The cap can be made on the purple Knifty Knitter hat loom with 48 pegs in 5/8 inch gauge, or on a similar sized 1/2 inch gauge loom (the sample was made on the 51 peg CinDwood 1/2 inch gauge loom.) Larger gauges will not achieve the same fabric as the pattern.
