Yarn used for the sample: Hobbii Rainbow Cotton 8/8 (82 yds per 1.76 oz) #3 dk weight, 2 skeins of Light Coral and 1 skein of Pastel Purple.
Any soft cotton or cotton blend yarn with about 11 wpi will work.
You will also need: stitch marker for the brim as it’s made in continuous (spiral) rounds;
approx. 38-42” of 1/3 - 1/4” wide ribbon.
The hat is made top down, the gauge is given as crown diameter needed for a specific size.
CSdc (chainless starting double crochet) is listed as an option to use instead of starting ch-3. Photo tutorial and a link to a video tutorial of the stitch are provided.
