This movie, like Nightmare Before Christmas, is a stop-motion animation. Some of the characters had tiny handknit sweaters made for them by the insane genius that is Althea Crome. But as part of their viral marketing campaign, they asked me to create a person-sized pattern of Coraline’s star sweater. The pattern was sent in some of the crazy boxes that have been going out and now that the website is up it’s hidden on there. So you too can make yourself a Coraline sweater.

I wrote the pattern for Children’s sizes 6, 8 and 10 and Ladies sizes XS-XL (34-50”). It’s a very interesting pattern in that you knit the sweater plain and then you do velvet appliqued stars all over. It’s so much fun.
