A crescent shape shawl knit from the bottom up featuring lace stitches and short row shaping while utilizing 3 coordinating colourways.

SIZE: 76” width x 15” height

GAUGE: 15 stitches & 42 rows = 4” (blocked garter stitch in Serenity 20)
(gauge can vary slightly but remember if your gauge is different it will result in a different sized shawl and different yardage requirements)

DIFFICULTY: advanced beginner

We worked up our shawl in Serenity 20 and Serenity Glitter Sock in the colourways and amounts:

M: Marigold (Serenity 20 - 1 skein)
C1: Bombyx (Serenity 20 - 1 skein)
C2: Bombyx Splatter (Serenity Glitter Sock - 1 skein)
(these colourways were all dyed to coordinate with each other)

YARDAGES USED:
M: 180 yards
C1: 270 yards
C2: 220 yards

You are welcome to mix yarn bases but remember gauge will vary slightly based on yarn base.

If you love my Mezquita Shawl this is an adaptation of that shawl to include colours, more lace rows and a deeper crescent shape.

I consider this an easier knit - the lace repeats itself for several rows then we get into short rows for shaping then a picot bind off for a pretty edge to your shawl.
