This is a heavier weight version of my Corduroy Road pattern, perfect for the colder months. Textured stripes in stocking and reverse stocking stitch are softened by a feathery foliage pattern which creates a beautifully scalloped and feminine edge. Worked from one tip to the other, in one piece, it’s a surprisingly quick knit and perfect for gifting. The sample shown is 82” x 6.5” (208cm x 16.5cm), but you can make it any length or width you like, and it’s easy to adjust so you can work right to the end of your yarn. It would also look lovely made in an aran or worsted weight if you like your scarves a bit chunkier; tension’s not too important, just choose needles that give you a fabric you’re happy with.

The pattern instructions are charted only.

You can buy both versions of Corduroy Road together for just £4.00. This works retrospectively too, so if you’ve previously purchased the original Corduroy Road pattern, the magic of Ravelry should allow you to buy this one for just £1.25. The same applies if you buy this one and then want the laceweight version in the future.
(Please send me a Ravelry message before you checkout if it’s not showing up as the correct price in your basket).
