Cornelia Counterpane Pullover
Also available at Tahki Stacy Charles.
“The pinwheel counterpanes are an adaptation of a 19th century knitted quilt. Knit in MOSS, the pullover features six textural pinwheel patches worked from the center out and pieced together for an exciting composition.”
--From Knitflash Loop D loop by Teva Durham
Gauge: 16 sts and 20 rows = 4” (10 cm) in Ladder Rib using #9 (for Back) and Counterpane of 7 (7.5, 8, 8.5, 9)” square on #6 needle.
Description from the pattern: The front of this boatneck pullover is formed with an arrangement of counterpane squares. Each pane is worked from the center out then bound-off and joined into a “quilt”, with the ridged segments forming a large pinwheel shape. A textural stripe pattern is used on the back and sleeves.
