Punchy colors update traditional stranded colorwork in this cozy cardigan. Pockets and a deep V neck make a classic piece modern. Sweater is knit in the round and steeked.

Yarn SMC Select Extra Soft Merino (100% superwash merino wool; 142 yd 130 m/1¾ oz 50 g): #05191 beige marl (MC), 9 (9, 10, 10, 11, 12) balls; #05187 turquoise (CC1), 1 ball; #05127 cayenne (CC2), 1 ball; #05151 indigo (CC3), 1 (1, 1, 1, 1, 2) ball(s); #05122 tomato (CC4), 1 ball. Yarn distributed by Westminster Fibers.

Needles Size 4 (3.5 mm): 24” circular (cir), 40” cir, and set of double-pointed (dpn). Size 6 (4 mm): 24” cir and set of dpn (see Notes). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
