COSMIC DRIP is here! Finally, in our little corner of the universe…

Use my Ribbon Candy Crochet techniques to craft this LONG assymmetrical triangle shawl. If you love styling scarves dramatically and never leave the house without a shawl, then this innovative new design is for YOU

The shape may be new and unusual in crochet, but my construction style makes for a meditative and pleasant stitching experience. It’s a pattern that will stimulate your mind and relax your day. Plus, each shawl body row uses less than a 1/2 skein of sock yarn, so you can play around with partial skeins and scraps from your stash.

The wingspan of your blocked shawl will be approximately 105,“ and 40” at the widest part of the triangle.

Level: Intermediate. To complete this project you must be able to read a chart or a pattern, maintain even tension, count accurately, and stitch confidently into starting chains. Cosmic Drip introduces some new tricks to my Ribbon Candy Crochet repertoire. If you’re familiar with my patterns, it will still be very accessible to you.

It would a tougher introduction to my Ribbon Candy Crochet techniques than my shawl or scarf book, but still do-able if you can trust the pattern and enter the “Drip-fill” section with an open mind. With diligent counting during the Foundation and Row 1, crocheters of all skill levels will find success in this project. And nervous beginners have the option of skipping the “Drip-fill” section altogether and leaving a small gap.

This downloadable crochet pattern includes all the information you need to make your own Cosmic Drip shawl. With written English directions, ample Charts, Diagrams and Photos for support.
