This sassy little girl’s cotton camisole top is so sweet, with a two-tone design and crisscross back straps. A little ruffled edge adds a feminine flare. The body is knit in a basic stockingnet stitch, with a bodice in a simple seed stitch. And the best part…almost no seaming. This pattern was created by a knitwear designer in Lyon, France.

The pattern will result in a stretchy top size 6-10 years. You will need to know how to cast on stitches, knit stitches, purl stitches, knit in a round, knit in the front and back of a stitch, pick up stitches along edging, cast off, place stitches on a stitch holder, and knit in ends of the finished work – skill level intermediate. A top, for an average skilled knitter, should take approximately eight hours to complete.

Sample was knit in Plassard Nature Gong 100% cotton couleur 029, and Gong Jacquard couleur 203.
