A tubular cowl, knit in the round, Count Me In is a fun, mindless knit with 6 different stripe variations, mostly stockinette combos, but with a bit of extra texture included for added variety.

A provisional cast on is used, which is later grafted with the finished end using Kitchener Stitch. (Links to tutorials are provided and clear, concise preparation instructions are included in the pattern).

The beauty of this design is that you can choose to knit it exactly as is - OR - you can adapt it to suit your yarn or style preferences. To that end, each section of the pattern includes row counts & measurements, so you can choose if you wish to include or exclude certain areas.

The total length of yarn required is 840m/ 919 yds.

You are only limited by your imagination when you knit this item, and it is also a great pattern for using up mini skeins, or scrap yarns of the same thickness. I plan on making another one at some stage - mainly because I absolutely love the finished item and the way it sits around my neck. And also, I admit - because I have way too much yarn in my stash, some of which would be perfect incorporated into an accessory such as this!

Count Me In is a beautifully warm & snug winter accessory.
Trust me - you won’t regret having an item like this in your wardrobe!
