This blanket is worked by knitting separate motifs of three different varieties (octagon, square and triangle) and then assembling them into the whole blanket. A crocheted border is given but any border of your choosing will work.

There are specifics for three different gauges and blanket sizes: 6 sts per inch, 5.5 sts per inch and 5 sts per inch. Any fingering, dk or worsted weight yarn will work.

About 4700 yards of fingering, 2500 yards of dk or 1850 yards of worsted weight yarn is required for the above dimensions.

Also included in the pattern are instructions to make the blanket any size you want and how to figure out approximate yarn usage for your size.
