Counterpose is a set of accessories featuring positive/negative colorwork. The mitts use the darker of the two colorways as the main color for the first mitt, and opposite for the second. There are a matching cowl and hat; the accessory set together takes two full skeins of Valkyrie.

Finished Size: Cuff 6”, hand 9” stretched.

Yarn: Dragonfly Fibers Valkyrie, 100% Superwash Merino, 200 yards/4 oz. Sample knit in Julia’s Tresses (Color A) and Birch (Color B). Sample used 110 yards total.

Needles: Set of 5 double-pointed needles or 16” circular needles, size 7 US (4.50 mm), or size to obtain gauge

Gauge: 16 stitches/24 rows per 4” in blocked stockinette, knit in the round.
