This collection contains two cabled sock patterns with fun “country” themes. “Creekside” socks combine bright colors and a fun bubbling cable. The “Dancing Leaves” pattern features a wavy cable that gradually shifts color due to the gorgeous gradient dyed yarn.

These two patterns are an excellent “next step” for sock knitters who are ready to move past the basics. Simple, easy to memorize, repeats turn into a design that looks much more complicated than it actually it is. Features cuff down construction with a heel flap.

While the pattern is written for cuff down sock knitters, the cable designs will work equally well for toe up knitters. The pattern includes charts and some modification notes for using the design for toe up socks. Also includes instructions for an alternate afterthought heel.

Written for DPNs but easily adaptable for the magic loop method.
