COURAGE SHAWL

This shawl is meant to soothe your soul. Designed during a time in my life that I needed to have courage, it’s a project that you can get lost in, but also express your emotions and personality through. The mosaic knitting technique creates a gorgeous pattern while still letting your mind relax, so whether it’s knit during your happiest or most challenging time, Courage will bring you solace and joy. FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
Approximately 69 in / 175 cm wingspan and 32 in / 81 cm depth after blocking.

CONSTRUCTION
Knit using two solids and one multi-color worsted yarn this triangular shawl is worked top down using mosaic knitting. Comprised of all knit and purl stitches and using only one color per row, Courage makes for a relaxing knit.

YARN
Kelbourne Woolens Germantown (N. American Wool, 220 yds / 201 m per 100g skein) (Colors A & C)

  • Color A: 1 skein OR approx 220 yds / 201 m of worsted weight yarn, shown in colorway 105 Natural Note: this shawl uses up almost all of the 1 skein of Natural - if you are concerned about gauge discrepancies & swatching we suggest purchasing an additional skein.

  • Color C: 2 skeins OR approx 257 yds / 235 m of worsted weight yarn, shown in colorway 410 Navy

Spincycle Dream State (100% Rambouillet/Merino Wool, 150 yds / 137 m per 150g skein) (Color B)

  • Color B: 2 skeins OR approx 256 yds / 234 m of worsted weight yarn, shown in colorway Mississippi Marsala

GAUGE
