Details :
(smaller needle): US size 3/ 3.25 mm on 16” circular needles..

(larger needle): US size 6/ 4 mm on 16” circular needles.

Gauge : (Note: We are going to take gauge for both the brim on smaller needles and the body of the hat on larger needles.)

Smaller needles: 6 sts and 7 rows per inch.
Larger needles: (Around) 8 sts and 7 rows per inch.
Finished sizes:
Small size: should fit ages 14-18, depending on measurement of head. Would suggest for circumference of 19”-20” heads.

Medium size: Would suggest for circumference of 20”-23” heads.
(Brim should have negative ease of a few inches, as at this gauge, it will stretch out and stretch back easily.)

Brim: 17” circumference.
Body at fullest: 20” circumference.

Shown in sample at 17” circumference on a size 20” head.
