Being named after a famous explorer Cousteau likes to sit places where he can see the world going by, windowsills and places with a great view of the traffic in your office are recommended locations for Cousteau’s day to day observing. He doesn’t eat very much, but you should remember to offer him a little bit of something French from time to time, croissants, éclairs, soufflé, and in a pinch some french fries will do. Although the original Cousteau was a big fan of water, this little Cousteau prefers to stay dry and is hoping to one day reach into outer space to study Aquatic Life in space.

Cousteau makes a fantastic cubicle companion or gift for that special geek in your life. Inspiration for this amigurumi critter was drawn from everything from Cthulhu to Beatnik poets. The best part of this pattern? It’s small enough to be completed in one sitting and is fantastic for using up scrap yarn ends and pieces.
