The Coventry Shawl is an asymmetrical triangle shawl that is knit from side to side. It is a super simple knit which yields sophisticated results with just a bit of edge. There is no wrong side with this shawl, either side can be worn facing out as each has a slightly different, but equally gorgeous, look.

This is a great pattern for those who are new to knitting shawls as the only necessary stitches are knits, purls, and increasing by knitting through both the front and back leg of a stitch.
