This pixie hat will definitely keep baby warm during the cooler months with its extra long earflaps that can be tied or left hanging loose.

Lion Brand’s Cotton-Ease yarn in the shades Almond and Charcoal were used for the hat in the first five photos.

You can certainly make the hat in a solid color as well as shown in the last few photos. There’s loads of texture both in the front earflap portion of the hat and the stripes. The hat would also look particularly striking in a variegated yarn.
