This was one of my very first purse patterns and is one of the quickest I’ve ever knit. The burly spun on the large size 13 needles knits up very quickly, making this a single day or evening project.

The purse is thick and sturdy. Mine acutally held water after it was felted - WOW! It’s excellent for hand felting onto.

I made 6 of these purses and handfelted a custom (branding iron type) logo on the front of them for an archiecture firm to give away to the gals involved in a large Montana project. It was the perfect gift.
