This knitting pattern can help you create a simple cowl-necked sweater dress like the one pictured here. The dress can fit a variety of 10-12 inch dolls. The dress is knitted from the cowl neck down, with a self-edged back ribbing. The optional pockets are knitted separately and sewn on, and the simple belt finishes off the outfit.

Supplies
* Lightweight fingering yarn--I used “Palette”
or “Stroll” , available from www.knitpicks.com.

  • 4 place markers
  • 6 sets of 4/0 snaps & matching thread for finishing
  • optional button embellishment (4 miniature buttons, two per pocket)
