Knitting: Fashion Doll (Barbie, etc)
This sweater with a beautiful four-stranded braid in the front, is knit from the neck down with increases at the raglan seams. There is minimal finishing to be done, as the sweater is joined at the underarms and knit to the hipband, and has a self-band at the back edges.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
I made two variations of the hat pattern. The first (the cuffed hat) has a delicate braid and keeps the “rough” back of the cable away from baby’s face. It does require more yarn & more knitting time, as you are essentially knitting an extra 1 ½ inches or more of stockinette stitch for the cuff.
