Sweater was designed and knit for the CIC charity, which sends warm socks and sweaters to children in Russian orphanages (Children in Common). Knit in the round with no seams. Sleeves are picked up at shoulder and knit down in the round. Any bulky weight yarn should work. For the CIC charity the organizers request at least 75% wool content for warmth. As the designer says, gauge isn’t critical for the charity. It will fit some child who needs it. This pattern is written for 3 sizes.
