This pattern is based off a headband I saw in Anthropologie the other day. I recommend measuring your head to begin with and then possibly reducing the length of the sections to match. The measurements are of the inside of the headband unstretched, and will accommodate most head sizes. I fit the large size, and my head is just that, large.

I used Mirasol Sulka yarn when I knitted it, and it worked perfectly.
