Crackerjack is a conceptual knitting design for baseball fans (it can work for hockey or basketball fans, too!). Knit your team’s season into a pair of socks to wear for the postseason. Using your team’s colors, with whatever yarn and needles you prefer, you will make yourself a color-coded key, take calculations, and use this worksheet to help you fully customize your project, which will reflect your team’s wins and losses at home and on the road, for one season.

This worksheet is for a pair of toe-up socks with an afterthought heel. The toe, heels and cuff are all done in a single color, while the foot and leg are striped according to your key. Feel free to modify for whatever kind of socks you prefer to make and wear.
