Cranberry Island Mittens are a single-color mitten with cable designs on a Reverse Stockinette background. Cable details flank the sides and thumb. Worked in a slightly dense gauge with a rustic DK weight yarn, they are both stretchy and cozy to wear. The prototype used 164 yards of yarn for the pair of mittens.

The pattern is presented in both chart and written form.

These mittens may easily be made larger by adding stitches at the sides, or using a worsted weight yarn.
