Scarf is knit flat and then seamed up in the round. Seam is covered with the wrapped yarn to make a bow-like effect.

Terms used:

DC: Double crochet stitch
Half-Double: Half double crochet stitch
Puff stitch: In one stitch make FIVE incomplete DC stitches.

Puff stitch reads like this: YO, insert hook into stitch, YO, pull stitch up, YO pull through two stitches (Should have two stitches on hook) NOW, complete whats between the * four more times, then YO and pull though all loops on hook. (Video here if you are confused)

This pattern is more like a guideline. I explain what stitches I’ve used to create this scarf, and I’ll tell you what order I did them in as well--but you can also mix and match these and create a totally different scarf as well!

You will need:

1) 305 yards/150g of worsted weight yarn to make the size shown here. I had two skeins of blue and one of the red color, 50 grams each. If you want to make it longer buy more.

2) Size 4.25mm (G/6) crochet hook

3) Yarn needle for weaving in ends.
