In a design that is reminiscent of rabbit tracks running through a winter forest, plaited cables are interspersed with delicate lace insets in this warm and cozy hat. This easy cabled hat makes a great last-minute, one-skein gift.

The hat takes just one skein of light worsted or dk-weight yarn, or you can use any of our sock yarns held double to get the same weight.

PATTERN NOTES
The hat is worked from the brim to the crown. Change to double-pointed needles when stitch count becomes small enough in the crown shaping. This hat pattern uses only half-a-skein of yarn, enough for another hat or for a coordinating cowl (Creekside Cables Cowl Pattern).
