creeping leaves
A truly lovely pattern resembling foliage.
The level of difficulty: not very difficult, but definitely not for complete beginners. It includes yarn-overs on the right as well as on the wrong side, together with purling 2 tog through the back loop (the explanation of the latter however can be found on you tube without any problems).
The yarn:
The original yarn used for this scarf (New Jazz, Midara) gives a stunning effect but unfortunately, as it comes from Lithuania, it’s not easily available on the market. Therefore, I suggest using comparable substitute yarn (5-ply) and checking the gauge very carefully.
Tip:
I always slip the first stitch in a row as if to purl. It ensures a very nice looking, neat edge.
