It’s the season for cuddly hats.

The Crema hat is ultra soft, comfy, cozy and goes perfectly with the equally soft, comfy and cozy Crema Cardigan to be released mid December 2015.

A beautiful sideways cable motif is worked flat and frames your face in this knitted in the round project and the I-cord gives it a playful finish.

Pattern suitable for the advanced beginner.

Yarns:
150 yards of a heavy worsted weight yarn.
Alternatively you can use three strands of a kid seta yarn and a sport weight yarn held together to get the fluffy look as shown.

Notions:
US size 4 (3.5mm) circular needle 16” (40.5 cm) in length Cable needle
2 Buttons 3⁄4 of an inch in diameter
Darning needle
US size 3 (3.25mm) double pointed needles

Gauge:
20 sts and 32 rows = 4”, knitted in stockinette stitch.

Abbreviations:
co = cast on
k = knit
p = purl
RS = right side/knit side WS = wrong side/purl side rep = repeat

pl m = place marker
