A simple rectangle folded and finished to make a stunning shrug that is perfect to wear for many different occasions.

We used a few neat techniques to keep it interesting. There is lots of stockinette stitch knit flat (or seed stitch if you prefer). But to keep it fun, there is also a provisional cast on, a built-in i-cord edge, a 3-needle bind off, picked up stitches to knit in the round, and a short mattress stitch seam. It all makes for great mindless knitting.

We offer the pattern in two gauges for fingering or DK weight yarn. Suggestions are provided for using different weight yarns or adjusting the finished size.
