Cricklewood Owl is very wise. Today he is checking his stock prices in The Times with his little friend Jubilee Ladybird.

This listing is for patterns for you to knit your own owl and ladybird friends.

The 8 page pattern includes instructions and lots of photos to help you. The pattern is written so it is easier for beginners to follow. You will need to be able to do the following stitches/techniques: knit, purl, casting on and off, sewing seams, increases and decreases, changing colours (intarsia knitting).

All pieces are knitted flat on straight 3mm needles, and the owl uses less than 20g each of grey, brown and white wool.

The finished owl is 7 ½ cm tall.
