This simple yet elegant blanket is worked all in one, so there’s no sewing involved. It’s perfect for beginners as it uses just basic knit and purl stitches and the unisex design means it’s also a good baby shower gift. Using super chunky yarn, you’ll be amazed at how quickly this knits up!

Instructions are given for three sizes, approx. 69x69, 81x81 and 93x93cm (27x27, 32x32, 36x36”), with guidance for making a different size or using a chunky yarn instead.

You will need:
500, 600 or 800g (445, 534, 712 yard) of Super Chunky yarn (I used King Cole Big Value)
10 mm needles - a circular needle is best for the larger sizes
A tapestry needle to weave in the ends of the yarn
