This is one of my all time favorite designs! An elegant shell with a biased scarf neckpiece, CRISSCROSS seems like a simple vest but the details make it so special! The tapered front panels, i-cord edgings, wrap around scarf collar and button accents (that can be hidden or shown off) make this an elegant, timeless piece.

Shown in a mix of Shibui Reed and Pebble, CRISSCROSS could be knit in many different Shibui yarn mixes or in a single strand of DK weight yarn. Whatever yarn you choose, you will love this special garment.

CONSTRUCTION
Garment is worked flat in pieces from the bottom up, then seamed. A 34-st section of each front is worked on the bias (increasing at one end and decreasing at the other), beginning just below the armhole; this section is eventually split off to become the criss-cross scarf. After this biased section is completed, the front shoulder section is widened.
