Cast on 29 stitches and repeat Fig 9 rows 1-20 to the desired length of the first side.
To make the corner, knit rows 21-40, then repeat rows 41-60 for the desired length until the next corner.

To make a straight insertion with no corner, repeat rows 21-40 only.

To create a zigzag insertion, repeat rows 1-40.
