Crit chicken, moonkin, owl bear. This versatile pattern was inspired by the Moonkins in a certain MMORPG (World of Warcraft) but can be used to create an Owl (omit the antlers) or a D&D Owlbear.

The colour instructions are only for the brown and tan critter pictured here. Substitute the colours with those of your choice for funky crit chicken fun or for crit chickens of different species.

I used scraps of yarn I had lying around, but I recommend using Knitpicks Shine or Brava for the colour choices available and machine-washability.

The skill level for this pattern is intermediate - you need to know how to knit in the round, pick up stitches and knit short rows.
