A very plain crochet jumper with a wide knitted welt and a fancy crochet lace jabot all around the neckline and falling softly to the waist.

Pattern includes diagram of various pieces (not to scale)

The following measurements are listed (for finished garment, not for wearer)

  • Widest part of back, 19”
  • Widest part of front, 19”
  • Front shoulder seam to bottom of welt, 23”
  • Back ditto, 21”
  • Side seams, 15”
  • Short sleeves, 6” (or long sleeves as desired)

But note that the pattern as printed does not appear to give sufficient extra rows in the front shoulder to achieve these measurements, let alone to yield a V-neck as shown in the photograph….

The pattern claims that a 34”-36” bust can be obtained by “using a crochet hook one size smaller” - but this will also of course be considerably shorter and additional rows will need to be worked.
