This cat doll pattern was inspired by a vintage Appalachian cat doll that I saw in a museum display over the summer. I tried to recreate the rustic/primitive look in crochet and add a modern touch as well. I hope you enjoy making her as much as I have! :)

You will need to know how to:
single crochet, chain, sc2tog (single crochet 2 stitches together), single crochet increases (single crochet 2 stitches in the same stitch)

Finished Size: Approximately 15” tall

Materials needed:

Worsted weight yarn (about 260 yards)
Size H hook
Polyester stuffing
Locking stitch marker
Scissors
Tapestry needle
12 mm blue cat safety eyes (not safe for children under 3, crochet baby-safe eyes pattern included in PDF)
Pink embroidery floss
Black embroidery floss
Ribbon to tie around neck, if desired
