I’ve tried my hand at writing a pattern for the first time for this popular little caterpillar blanket.

A plain white shell background is brought to life by a colourful critter, which can be made in any combination of your spare green yarns.

Mostly made holding two strands of DK yarn together and using a 9mm hook, so it’s very quick to make!

Finished size is sufficient for a pram or cot: with the advised amount of yarn, mine come out at about 30x32”. (To enlarge, just extend the starting chain by 3 or a multiple of 3).
