This is an easy beginner pattern that works mainly with simple crochet stitches with only slight variations (back loop only, front post, back post). Use 1 or up to three different colours - just as you like it.

It was planned as a crochet hook case for solely 1-2 hooks, your scissors and the wool needle and stitch markers needed for a single project carried along. But the size can be adjusted easily both in length and width. Just ensure that the width always has an even count of stitches.
