Who does not like popcorn am i right? :) I may not like getting kernels stuck in my teeth….. but these are not only light on the hips but very little yarn is needed. scraps could just be used for popcorn. Less than 1/2 a ball of yarn for bag or less.

fast and fun? why yes. they are.

i thought i would make a few , hate it then, never make any ever again. well i was wrong. lol i found i couldn’t stop.

i started out thinking just plain popcorn, then i got excited thinking i could make buttered, cheesy and even Caramel popcorn. ohh i was getting hungry thinking about it. lol

the pattern is made in a spiral so use your stitch marker, they work up so fast you will make a few before you look down to count them.

the Bag was inspired by a plastic container made with 2 CD’s and bottle cap. found here in Ravelry called Recycled plastic container made from 2 ply plarn. i made one my self and loved it :)

i used a CD to make the bottom of my bag. made in the same way as the container. i really like how it turned out. i left help on the blog on how i made my bag, below the popcorn pattern.

lastly i just want to say have fun with your food :)

i have to admit big laughs will happen with this popcorn in a room with people.
i will tell you i called my grand son in the room to see what he thought. i put them on the table. called him in the room and asked him if he wanted popcorn.
He said yes, Grandma. rubbing his belly. ummm he said. with big blue eyes. excited at this idea.
I then, pointed to my Newly Crochet popcorn. with a smile.
he looks at me with such disappointment, bottom lip hanging out so sad. No, he said. i want Real popcorn.
Laughing so hard , in tears i show him the real popcorn.
i wouldn’t want to see him cry. but it was funny.
i even tricked my son. :)
