Crochet a rolled rose and rosebuds to achieve this three dimensional necklace/scarf. Start by crocheting the stem and leaves all in one piece. Next, crochet and roll the rose and rosebuds. I even have instructions for the calyx part of the rosebud. The rose and rosebuds are then sewn onto the stem using the long yarn ends. If wool is used, it may be felted for a different look. You may use your washing machine to felt or do it by hand, if you prefer.
