This crocheted bag is our interpretation of a straw bag Kit used for years—the bag is, sadly, no more, but Kit’s sketch survived. When we felt the dry, crisp hand of Rowan’s Creative Linen, we knew it was time to add some dimension to the old sketch, and this bag is the result.

At 16” tall and 9” in diameter, it’s perfect as a purse or small tote. Crocheted firmly throughout, the bag is sturdy, yet also quite soft and flexible–we’ve even been known to rest our heads on it while lounging on a picnic blanket. And when the bag hangs from your shoulder, the straps cinch it tightly closed to keep your contents inside.
