This pattern is for a 3D Crocheted Scalloped Heart. The center shells are raised over a heart shape form giving a 3D effect. Finished heart can be used as a frame, or adorn with flowers and ribbon to add an elegant Victorian wall hanging to a bedroom or bathroom.

Uses size 10 bedspread weight thread and a US size 7/1.65mm steel crochet hook. Finished size is approx. 9” wide x 9” high. A smaller heart may be made using a smaller hook, or a combination of a smaller size thread and hook. Pattern form will have to be adapted to accomodate the smaller size.

Will need styrofoam block, cardboard, aluminum foil, plastic wrap, t-pins, cotton cord and fabric stiffener.
