I thought I was done, but I was wrong.

I finished the “Quite Contrary” Shawlette pattern and everyone seemed to like it, but some of my Ravelry friends began asking,

     “Can you make it bigger?”  

Well, not using that pattern. But of course it could be done. How would I do it? Let’s give it a try. So here is a shawl similar in construction to Contrary, but deeper. About as wide, not as curved, but very cozy.

A very comforting pattern to make. It will not give you headaches, but making the shells becomes very addictive. I found it difficult to put down. “Just one more row – they go so quickly!” And before you know it, you’re done!

Did I say I was done? But what was that I heard?

“Can you make it in Fingering Weight?”

Well, not using this pattern. But of course it could be done. How would I do it? Let’s give it a try… So, coming soon… the “Cantankerous” Shawl…
