Needles: Size 10.5 US 6.5 mm 24 in. 61 cm circular and either double-pointed needles (dpns) or 16 in. 40.6 cm circular in the same size, or whatever size you need to get gauge

Yarn: main color (mc) - 420(440, 480, 500/540, 560/580, 600) yd 384(402, 399/457, 494, 512/530, 549) m of aran to bulky weight yarn, contrasting color (cc) - 135(140, 145, 150/155, 160/165, 170, 175) yd 123(128, 133, 137/141, 146/151, 155, 160) m of aran to bulky weight yarn. This sweater is a bit cropped, you will need more of each yarn if you want to add length to the sweater.

Due to this sweater being test knit in handspun, the yardage needed may vary from the estimates above. I apologize for any frustration this might cause.

Gauge: 4 sts/in. 2.5 cm – I recommend making a large swatch for this sweater. Due to the unruliness of handspun and the thickness of the yarn, gauge measured over a sampling of 4 in. 10 cm sections is essential.
