Crocosmia is a large crescent shaped shawl. The lace runs the length of the stockinette section and ends in the leaf shape at the bottom edge of the shawl. The edging is enhanced by using a contrast color for the picot bind off.
If you would like to make this in the different colors as shown. You will need 4 colors. Color A: 150 yds, Color B: 200 yds, Color C: 400 yds, and Color D: 50 yds.
It can also be done in two colors. For two colors you will need 400 yds of each color.
If you decide to knit Crocosmia in less than four colors, you can omit making the slip stitches and knit across the row instead.
The pattern is charted and also has the written directions.
