These lovely lace mitts were inspired by a Valentine’s Day swap at my local yarn shop. I really wanted to make something special for my swap partner so I went to work trying to think of what I wanted to make. Since it was Valentine’s Day I really wanted to incorporate hearts into the pattern. The resulting mitts were the product of a labor of love for my swap partner. The cowl I designed so that whoever wanted to make these fabulous mitts would also be able to have an equally fabulous matching cowl.

Finished size for the mitts is approx. 7.75” (19.7 cm) long and 6.5” (16.5 cm) around. Because of the lace pattern these mitts have a bunch of stretch to them and can stretch up to 8.25- 8.5” (21-21.6 cm) around the hand comfortably.
