This  crossover bag uses a tapestry crochet design that is Celtic in origin. It is also reminiscent of tarot cards of the Renaissance - featuring the “spades”. strap can be made in any size. The design of the strap is a spiral - taking advantage of the ‘twist’ that is so common in tapestry crochet.

In addition to the yarn and hooks, this project also requires two seven inch zippers, strong thread and needle, and three thicknesses of plastic canvas to stiffen the bag where the strap attaches.
