A pullover’s wider center-front panel offers possibilities for design that focus the eye front and center. Stacked chevrons create an interesting pattern that lends itself to the rectangular shape. I chose a hand-dyed self-striping yarn with a very long color repeat, and started by dividing the ball into smaller balls at the color breaks. I added three coordinating semisolids for the back panels and to supplement the smaller balls for the mitered front.

Skill level: Easy +

Yarn requirements: 1325 (1375, 1500, 1650, 1775, 1850) total yards (allow extra yardage for A if controlling color in a long-repeat multi-color)

Colors: Vertigo (A); Semi-Solid Sport in colors Viridian (B) and Swamp (C).

Pattern found on p. 43.
